Before I share my story with you, understand this:
Your personal brand is a symphony.
It’s a place where your ideal readers come to listen to your wisdom from around their digital fireplace. It’s a timeline full of your wins, failures, dreams, and ambitions.
It’s a testament to the venture capitalist, angel investor, or founder you are (and who you want to become).
Your personal brand is not:
Going viral, getting likes, announcing how “excited you are to do XYZ,” or—worst of all—sacrificing your personality for soulless, boring, and copy-and-paste content.
My goal is to help you show up as yourself, tell real stories in an addictive(ly honest) way, and shape your personal brand based on everything you.
No AI templates.
No bland stories.
No boasting.
So, sit down for a bit.
Grab a drink.
Let me take you down my memory lane…
My personal brand journey starts in a hell-on-earth startup, crying myself to sleep, losing my sanity to Machiavellian people, and sacrificing who I was for the sake of going viral.
I was a seasoned copywriter trying to find my worth again by transitioning from traditional marketing copy to personal branding and ghostwriting.
After learning the power of LinkedIn, I went all-in.
I posted seven days a week—sometimes twice, or even three times a day—for two months.
The result?
A ghost town.
No one cared about my fancy carousels. No one cared about my opinion. No one cared, period.
I didn’t allow this to stop me, though.
I kept hustling. I kept trying. I would do whatever it took to build my brand and help others do the same.
Then, one day, I had a moment of reflection while barrelling down a fourth coffee, rubbing sleep from my eyes, and glaring at the myriad of posts I had prepared for the following week.
I knew I wasn’t writing like myself.
I wasn’t being me.
I was trying so hard to do what everyone else was doing on LinkedIn that I completely lost who I was.
No uniqueness.
No substance.
No identity.
No voice.
That night, I looked at my laptop screen, and whispered:
“Enough is fucking enough.”
I deleted every post I had scheduled that week.
I wrote a post without editing, without thinking, and with so much fire you would think I was drowning in gasoline.
(Looking back, maybe I was)
I posted it the following morning.
The response was explosive.
Crazy high engagement, supportive comments, DMs, and leads flowing into my calendar.
I realized I was doing something right, and all I needed to do was embrace my real voice.
My story. My brand. Me.
Since then:
I’ve gained thousands of like-minded followers, built a brand based on my passions and storytelling wisdom, and connected with extraordinary people in the founder, investor, and consultant space.
All because I committed to the process.
All because I hustled through sweat and tears.
All because I never took “no” for an answer.
And you?
You can do the same.
My mission is to help you conquer your demons, your inner liars, the little voices that poison your potential with every knife-sharp monologue.
I’m a writer with a strong visual focus, using cinema and powerful narratives to drive my work—whether it’s ghostwriting or brand photography.
So, if that aligns with you, we’ll get along like guppies.
Reach out to me, and let’s grab a digital coffee.
I’m eager to hear your story.
Talk soon,
Taylor
